Graco Recalls Highchairs Due to Fall Hazard

Graco, one of the world’s largest retailers of baby products, has issued a recall of their Table2Table 6 in 1 highchairs exclusively sold at Walmart due to multiple reports of the chair’s rear legs pivoting out of position, posing a fall hazard for the baby in the chair.

“Over 60 years ago, Graco Children’s Products Inc. (“Graco”) was founded based on a commitment to safety through innovative design, durability and with the best intentions in mind of loving parents and caregivers. It is because of this commitment, Graco, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is announcing a voluntary recall of the Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchair. This highchair is a 6-in-1 convertible product that converts to various modes from a traditional highchair to a toddler seat. The rear leg(s) can pivot, posing a potential fall hazard to the child.” the recall stated.

Consumers are encouraged to stop using the highchair immediately and contact Graco to receive a free repair kit.

The affected item is grey with white polka dots on its cushion and converts to six different modes, including a traditional highchair, a booster seat and toddler chair and table and sold for $100.

If you have questions about whether or not your highchair is effected by the recall, review the posted recall or call Graco at 800-345-4109.
