State and Agricultural Fairs

Stratham Fair (Stratham)
The Stratham Fair is one of the oldest country fairs in New England. What started as a 250th anniversary celebration with a lobster bake and some horse pulling for amusement has grown in to a family event that is attended by over 20,000 people every year. Directions

North Haverhill Fair (Haverhill)
Concerts on Friday and Saturday nights are always crowd pleasers and usually are announced in late Winter or early Spring. Other featured events include horse, pony and oxen stone boat pulling events, Demolition Derby, tractor and 4×4 pulling events with transfer sleds, dairy, sheep, goat and dog shows for 4-H’ers, plus an open horse show. Canterbury Fair (Canterbury)
Always the last Saturday in July, the annual volunteer-run celebration of small-town community, the Canterbury Fair kicks off with the Woodchuck Classic 5k Road Race and 2K Chipmunk Classic Kids Run. Net proceeds from the Fair benefit the Canterbury Fund, which aids local families in need. Cheshire Fair (Swanzey)
With a horse show, rodeo, tractor pull, amusement rides, and lots of local vendors, the Cheshire fair is guaranteed to be a great time for everyone in your family. Directions.

Belknap County 4-H Fair (Belmont)
We are the only non-profit 4-H fair in the state of New Hampshire. We are proud of our great people, entertainment, animal shows, food, exhibits, demonstrations and fun. We want to continue this tradition by bringing you a variety of not only the old traditions but new ones to partake in. Directions

Cornish Fair (South Cornish)
Annual Traditional Country Fair that is family friendly and which provides education and entertainment with emphasis on agricultural and 4-H exhibits and shows. Old time pulling events, woodsmen contest, horse show, arts and crafts, midway rides, stage shows, music, food and commercial exhibits. Directions

Lancaster Fair (Lancaster)
Looking for the largest fun-filled family event in the Great North Woods? Look no further! The undisputed event of the summer is the Lancaster Fair that has been open for 146 years in succession. Thank you for joining  us and making the fair fun! One low price includes one-day admission, midway rides and concert. Directions

Hopkinton State Fair (Contoocook)
The Hopkinton State Fair was originally started as a two-day agricultural event by the Contoocook Board of Trade, which held the first fair on October 5 and 6, 1915, at George’s Park in Contoocook village. The event was named the “Hopkinton Fair” or the “Contoocook Valley Fair.” Directions

Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair (New Boston)
Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair is the result of diligence, cooperation, careful planning, generosity, pride and TLC. Lack of these would deprive the public of a worthwhile project and there would be a void in the lives of many – no more would we have the “Old-fashioned” based, clean, country fair with a modern flair!
